New service, "TicketsToday" has just started in Akiba

New service, "TicketsToday" has just started at Akiba information center (located at 2nd floor of Akihabara UDX).

"TicketsToday" is a booth where tourists can easily buy tickets for traditional arts, musicals, plays, dance performances, and more.

Over 50 events are picked up and opened to public at 10 o'clock every morning. You can check the line-up on the tablet terminal set up in the center.

Tickets on the day and/or in advance for the events are available at reasonable prices.

This system is supported in 9 languages including English and Chinese.

【How to buy】

Check the event you want to attend on the tablet terminal and tell it to the staff.

Soon after your payment is confirmed, ticket will be issued.

Please be advised only credit cards and UnionPay can be used at Akihabara information center.

In my contribution, I will pick up one flyer to introduce what you can do in Tokyo or pick up a place or a thing you should go and see in Akihabara. I hope my contributions will be a help some day when you visit the town.

In this flyer, some Japanese traditional arts you can experience like "sumo morning practice viewing", "Time to Geisha", "Yumenoya kimono experience" and more are introduced.

       Introducing "Harajuku Kawaii Culture" to the world!

・Robot Restaurant

       Travel to the future! A unique world unfolds right before your eyes!

・Owl Cafe

       Popular cafes where you can interact with real live owls!

・Asakusa Review Torahime Ichiza

       A show with pantmime, dancing, and live singing that transports you back to Showa Era Japan!
