Akihabara Film Festival is coming soon!

Akihabara Film Festival (AFF) offers audiences great films produced based on anime, comics, light novels, and games.

Audiences can cheer aloud to the screen (by singing, clapping, and saying shtick lines).

All seats may be reserved beforehand. Advance tickets are sold exclusively by Confetti from 10:00 a.m. of December 15, 2018 to 10:00 p.m. of January 9, 2019.

【How to buy the tickets】

● To get an advance ticket

Advance tickets are exclusively sold by the ticket site, Confetti. 

① At a ticketing machine 

You can pay for and get a ticket at a ticketing machine in Seven-Eleven. Please be advised that member registration should be required.

② By telephone 

You can purchase a ticket by a phone. In this case, you don’t have to do member registration.  Please make a phone call to the following number between 10:00 and 18:00 on weekdays.

●To get a ticket sold on the day

Tickets sold on the day will be sold at TicketsToday from January 10, if any.

TicketsToday is available at Akiba info (on the second floor of Akihabara UDX) from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. .

Kotoratei (experience of being taken a photo in Samurai Armour)

Let me inform you of the opening of "Kotoratei".
Customers can be taken a picture in a Japanese samurai armour or throw shuriken (ninja's tiny blades).
There is no entrance fee but it costs \5,000 for the experience of being taken a picture in a Japanese samurai armour and \500 for throwing shuriken (8 times). Customers can use those services without reservation. 

Customers also can write air mail as a memory of visiting Japan. They can freely decorate the air mail by using Japanese pattern seals. They do not have to look for postbox outside. All what  they should do is only posting their air mail to the post set inside in the shop. This service requires postage. It costs \450.

FIGURE SPIRIT KUJI (ichiban kuji) - Sheryl Nome / Macross Frontier

”FIGURE SPIRITS KUJI” so-called “ichiban kuji” is a brand-new lottery produced by BANDAI SPIRITS. Though it is a lottery, it has no blank and a customer can get a high-quality realistic figurines.

Now they’re providing three types of figurines of “Sheryl Nome” from “Macross Frontier”. 

It seems especially to be difficult to get Type A（see the picture above）. 

I found one in TOKYO ATOM in Akihabara on November 27th.

"Yawaraka Shirokoppe" A new bakery has just been opened

"Yawaraka Shrokoppe", a bakery specializing in a roll called "koppepan" managed by KOMEDA Holdings Co., Ltd. was opened on October 19th this year. 

"Yawaraka" means soft. As shown in the shop name, a roll they use is very soft and moist. 

Customers can be choose their favorite ingredients from various kinds shown in the following link. Please check what kinds of ingredients can be chosen.
